About Me

Hello, I’m Annie Gray. Welcome to my blog and my first blog post thought I tell you a little about myself.
I’m a Alabama girl (No, I don’t mean the University of Alabama’s football, not a football fan)
I mean I live in Alabama, born and raise along the cotton fields (really wish I could say that, but I grew up across the road from the cows grazing real slow on grass)  I like to think I’m a good county southern girl.
Born premature, I have a hearing lost. Wait, there’s no need for American Sign Language if you meet me.   I’ll hear you; just have to get use to your voice, accent and the way your lips move. If you are one who signs please go slow been a few years since I’ve signed. Oh and my brain and hands are not connect very well anymore, so bare with me my signing bad.
As a means to escape the noise crowds where I didn’t hear well, I daydreamed, in the halls at school and the lunch room.  One day one of my many aunts said “If you’re going to daydream that much you need to write a story.
So I did.
A very short novel (less then 20 pages) called Wind Breaker Island, about talking animals, a lost prince and a girl far from home.
Since then I have attempt to write many more stories and learned a great deal from those attempts for example: just write the crazy novel.
I finally did just write the crazy novel and now editing it.  I might sneak in a few reports on my progress now and then, along with book reviews and others thoughts running through my head.
I hope you will visit again. I’ll be here Mondays and Fridays.
